Dr. Marianela Pena-Martinez

Dr. Marianela Pena-Martinez is the founder of Now Change Center. She is a bilingual, Licensed Psychologist who earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Pena-Martinez is passionate about working with individuals who are committed to self-growth and self-discovery. With training in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based strategies, she works towards helping her clients explore the roots of their life challenges in a safe and comfortable environment. She is also flexible in adapting her therapy approach to best match her client’s needs and developmental levels.

With experience in treating clients across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds, she has treated individuals and families experiencing concerns regarding aging, life transitions, mood disorders, personality disorders, and posttraumatic stress disorders.

Dr. Pena-Martinez has a YouTube channel where she shares psychoeducational videos in Spanish (EdPsi: Educación Psicológica) for individuals seeking to understand better their emotional and interpersonal challenges, as well as those who are hesitant or unable to afford psychological services at the moment.
